A gentleman’s body with the head of a skunk has supposedly been seen on several occasions at Sixmile Creek after midnight heaving pebbles into the water.

Clifford Tower was built by William the Conqueror in 1190 and was rebuilt in the 13th century by Henry III. People have reported seeing a red fluid oozing from the walls. It is thought to be the blood of the soldiers who have died there.

A woman hauling her head next to her arm is once in a while noticed studying the scenery from the top of Coal Mountain late at night. Residents here allege that this ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was killed while driving through Arctic Village in the past.

The Ye Olde Man and Scythe Inn in Bolton dates back to 1636. The Earl of Derby was beheaded outside the pub during the civil war 1651. Some say the Earl is still around.

One apparition is of a gentleman in a top hat. Another is of a woman in a long white dress with her entire face obscured by her black hair, who sits and stares into the fire. Perhaps most interesting though, is a pair of disembodied male legs that apparently wander the place.
